Regards to Health and Safety, GSJP employees hold a CSCS Laborer card therefore they have achieved a Level 1 in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment Qualification, in addition to this some supervisors have achieved a Site Safety Pluss SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Manager Safety Training Scheme) Qualification.
The above is a minimum requirement for a lot of sites. Therefore moving forward we now have individuals working towards completing NVQ Level 2 in General Construction Skills and a few completing NVQ Level 3 & 4 qualifications for managing and supervising construction projects. In addition to the laborers we have our Plant Operators who all staff hold CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) Certification or APT (all Plant Training) Certification. A selection of our employees both onsite and in office have completed an Emergency first aid at work course.
